Steve, i have a request as i used to have a manual like this. can you look through the trim pages and body pages to see if there is a drawing with the dimensions of the holes for the 2800 cs badge.

Selling the blue books. The final acknowledgment that coupe life is coming to a close. 
Markos, I will continue to visit as I always did, almost daily. I owned four coupes, five Bavarias, a 1600 and currently a '76 2002. If the right Bavaria comes along(one needing nothing in contrast to my coupe) like Matt's tiaga I may well dive back in. But it was time to pass my coupe on to a new, younger enthusiast who will do the upgrades and work I could not afford to do.
I did not want to watch my coupe to decline. It is at the point where with the proper amount money and skill it can return to the point where it was when I purchased it 32 years ago.
I have lots of memories on display shelves in the garage. And a CSRegister chrome license plate frame graces the back of Lilli, our 2002. With the delicate chrome bumpers and license plate lights in the bumpers of course.

PS: The new owner is 20 minutes from the Werke Shop and I believe has already visited.
And, the sale of my coupe coincided with my new found ability to post multiple photos on E9! A certain irony there.
