cold weather today, gloves for strictly functional reasons...
this knob came with the car.
Shift knob was purchased from Murray Fowler.
Personal shift knob where I removed the original blue and silver logo that I had worn out (and never liked) and recessed a logo from a key chain.
I rotate between the leather logo which came with my car, the wood one with logo and a NOS plain wood one (3rd from left), lately keeping with the plain one because not having the logo straight all the time after a few shifts bugged me. The 4th one is a repro.
This is what is in there now. It came with my car and had a BMW logo that wouldn’t stay out. Eventually I’ll find a 31mm roundel sticker to out in there. I plan on running the oem knob from my parts car.
I’m with you Steve, I hate it when the emblem rotates, I just use the stock wood knob now.
perhaps stuff the knob w/some alum. foil to the point where the emblem stays pointed correctly???
It’s the shifter itself that rotates on its rubber bushings.

that is extraordinary, is only in germany where you buy 10 eggsin a box ?
i am more used to 6 or 12, never saw a 10 egg box, fantastic !
