I have a new gasket installed on the leading edge of the side window. The one that seals between the front door glass and rear side glass. The fit is good as it is just slightly compressed with the front window all the way up. The problem is that since the new rubber is a bit "sticky" the door glass does not slide along the gasket very well during the last inch or so of travel at the top. Has anyone tried applying any lubricant to the outer face of the gasket to make it easier for the window to slide? Maybe some silicone? My current solution is to either roll the window the final inch with the door open, or, I roll the rear window down a bit first, then roll the door window closed, and then the rear closed.
