I'm trying to put the side rockers back onto my 74 now. There are two slotted bracket on the back of them. One at the Front and one at the Rear. There two fairly large holds in the body that look like they line up with them. What type of fastener is suppose to be used? Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks again.

slots in outer rocker cover--front and rear

And be sure those slots that extend beyond the door opening toward front and rear have the appropriate seals installed as a buffer between the outer rocker cover and the body.

Can someone tell me what size oval head (bolt?) and what type of seal? are correct.

Here is a picture of the back of the rocker and the slotted attachment point that I do not know what fastener to use. There seems to be quite a few places for a sheet metal screws to attache the rocker to the body. Maybe this is not used at all?

it seems impossible to my understanding to fix anything there, considering the displacement that the slot previews, displacement that is handicaped by the two lateral "ears" that the part presents, and more handicaped by the central area of the part that lays in the door floor, just forget it !

I don't think anything attaches there, mine hang on the sill and are just held on by screws around the perimeter.

Should the two holes be plugged with something? There are too high way too large for drains.
