Hi guys,
Does anyone have a spare FPS wheel they are willing to part with? I just had my wheels stripped, and upon inspection I realized that two of them had some corrosion on the inner lip, and, just so happens that these two are the MAHL versions, not FPS, so not sure if it is coincidence.

Got me wondering, are the Mahls known to be inferior to the FPS? Do they have more of a propensity to corrode? I know there are subtle differences between the two (the little window edges, etc.). Now that I know I have both, and corroded, my OCD will not stand for it! Luckily my spare is an FPS, so now I am looking for one more good one. There is a single one on EBay for $100 or best offer, but the seller had a couple negative reviews, would consider as a last resort.
Thanks!

I have a single FPS wheel. I've had the face media blasted and cleaned up the back and barrel manually. It had two small chips in the rim that I fixed with epoxy filler. You can see them in the picture of the face at 2-3 o'clock.

Thanks for the reply Dick! I might take you up on that, I will message you later today or tomorrow morning.

As an aside, these wheels seem to be getting harder to find in decent shape and apparently more valuable. I've sold several over the years for $25 each. I needed a set recently for the E3 and several sellers wanted $500 for 4. More like this on ebay. Not Alpina money but maybe worth fixing up your old ones.
