As you already know, we have two special events coming up the weekend after next, March 27 & 28th. We would love to get solid head counts for each of these events, as food and parking are involved, respectively. Please drop us a note and RSVP, or preferably go onto Facebook and join the SoCal Vintage BMW page/group, click the Events tab and RSVP for the event(s) you plan on attending. Please do so at your earliest convenience so we can let our hosts know how many are coming, and we can continue to be welcome guests at these cool automotive happenings!
Sat. Mar 27 9AM - Mulholland/Malibu Drive - Bavarian Workshop Open House - We'll meet in Pacific Palisades and drive via Topanga and Stunt Rd lookout west on Mulholland through The Snake to Decker Canyon. Then North to Westlake Village and east to West Hills to Marc Norris' Bavarian Workshop. A beautiful drive, but bring blinders if you don't like heights! I really want to encourage the e24, e28 and e30 drivers out to meet Marc, as he was one of the first Dinan authorized shops in the entire country, and he continues to performance tune these cars (as well as all BMWs) to a very high spec. I don't believe there is anything to difficult for them to handle, and Marc is like the rest of us, a car guy, but he happens to own a BMW shop with a stellar rep! We'll have some finger foods as well as soft drinks - its BYOB for any of the stronger stuff!
Sun Mar 28 10AM - Vintage Accessory Fest at Pacific BMW - Pacific BMW in Glendale has asked SoCal Vintage to participate in ther Accessory Fest at their dealership, and this fest will have a vintage flavor to it. We will assemble at 9:30 at a location (TBD) near the dealership, and will be staged in for parking. Pacific BMW is giving 30% off on parts for this day, so its the perfect time to replace those drip rails! They ask that you register with them via Their Facebook page which can be found through the SoCal Vintage BMW Page. Please RSVP!
We'll have other fun stuff coming up, including Bimmerfest at the Rose Bowl and more fun through the summer leading up to our 3rd SoCal Vintage BMW Meet at Woodley Park in October - it will be here soon! Thanks again to all of you for your support and participation!
