Hi,
This Blaupunkt Radio was in my 74 coupe when I bought it. I’ve seen the same model in other coupes over the years. Just pulled it out 2 weeks ago. Works fine, including the cassette player.
Looks like it was dealer installed. With separate front/rear fader control
Original Fader control included.
$150 shipped in the US.

Looks like a Hamburg CR, the C indicates 1971 so an early stereo cassette. As Blaupunkt had several models made in Japan the C may not mean 1971, Enoz will know.

Very interesting to see Blaupunkt Radio Made in Japan.

Very nice condition. Might be nice catch for radio collection.

According to the parts used for assembly (plastic and screws) it might be cooperation with Japan Supplier (Panasonic? Mitsubishi? ...) to save on production costs.
That time Made in Japan means different than today.

It's a 1977/78 Blaupunkt radio made in Japan, not period correct for e9

Stipulated that in may not be “period correct”. Let’s call it “era correct”.
Same radio was good enough for Murray’s Bluemax:

photo shows fader control mounted under dash to the left of steering wheel. As it was in my coupe.
Just saying….

Price reduced: $125 shipped in US.
Cheers!
