SOLD! Complete set of factory workshop manuals, 1972 print date. Manuals are in great, original condition showing only light dirt on the covers and outermost pages. All inside pages are super clean and only a couple pages are loose. Been in storage since the 1980s so they haven't seen much use or light/UV exposure!

SOLD! Asking $500 shipped for a quick sale. Only others I can find are on eBay for closer to $1k (ouch).

i have a question for you - in the body trim section, is there a page with the dimensions for mounting the 3.0cs or the 2800cs badge on the trunk. in my original set, that went away a long time ago was that page. i have never seen it again ... and i would like to get a copy of it ... even a close up photo.

i would appreciate you looking.

BTW, you might want to verify what the dates of the last update is within the set. for instance if it was last updated in 73, it won't have the '74 model year info ...

Does this cover carbureted CS models, or just fuel injected CSi models in terms of mechanical repairs?

Extremely interested if covers CS as well.

Thanks!

Perused the manuals this morning, no sign of any trunk badge mounting info... Maybe it was a supplement or later addition? From what I could tell, these manuals were last updated in 72.

The manuals cover both carbs and fuel injection. However, they sold super quick, before you posted your question.

World record at your asking price, the oneson eBay that are higher don’t sell.

Lucky me, I suppose! Tried researching these here on the forum, but seems like everyone deletes their ad and/or asking price after the item sells. Only comps were nearly $1k on eBay, so I figured half that was fair.

IMO the intrinsic value surpasses $500 once you use them a couple times. I know I'll never sell my 2002 blue books. Having all the torques, orientations and orders of washers and such at your fingertips - SO useful! Helps that it was purchased by a repair shop too, so I'm sure they'll get their use (and it's a business expense).

thanks for looking. it was from an early version

that's what i assume. not in my current set or the two sets i bought / sold a few years ago. it was in the set that i had in 1985 from Bimmer Parts Co. i gave / sold that set on ebay in the early 90's on ebay. wish i still had it. it had dimensions of all the holes to drill in the trunk for the 2800cs badge

I paid $50 for a set a few years ago. Deal of the decade? Scott, @rsporsche I'll take a look to see if my volumes have the badge dim info you are looking for.
