OK, so why does e9coupe.com need yet another thread about installing e28 window motors? Well, I thought I could pass on a few tips that I learned while converting both front doors on my 1970 2800CS from the original "sardine can" style motor & gearbox to the e28 style with integrated motor/...

Okay then, not plug and play!! While I understand the E28 motors are much better, at this point in my efforts to correct all that is wrong with my car, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" has got to rein! Perhaps I will revisit this topic when I free up!!

The e28 motor from a rear door is plug and play on all late 73 and all 74 coupes.
