Hi Folks,

I’ve been hanging onto this just in case I might want to do AC. I’m committed to a CSL tribute, so this and other non-essential e9 parts will get listed.

This part is NLA, rare. and probe to cracking. It is the e9-specific blend duct for an AC swap/install. You can use the evaporator from an e3 or possibly an e21, but this duct is required. If you plan to do AC now or someday, this part is essential.

Felt wants to fall off. It was held in place with duct tape but I pulled it off. No cracks or warping. Due to covid I am focusing on US sales.

Well I make 3D printed versions of the AC face plate. Both in post radio format (original blaupunkt ready), and DIN (precision fit to 70’s becker’s). I can also print the AC console side vents, or send you the files. The printed face plate is $225 painted and shipped (retail), and the side vents are about $140 a set (wholesale). Perhaps cheaper if you have a day to print the side vents yourself and sand off the stepping.

I confirmed that with the e3 plate, the fan switch must be mounted with the plug facing the roof. There is no way to have it face the floor without interfering with the radio. It makes sense that it fits this way because the e3 has seven grilles on the vent, and the knobs are spaced farther...

BTW - I modeled the part I’m selling above but it costs $300 to print. :(
