Hemming's Sports & Exotics new issue, January 2010 is on the stands now . .
Although not E9 Coupe related . . it features the Inca orange S14 2.5 AC Schnitzer powered BMW 2002tii we built at VSR . . . and showcases a bit of our capabilities . . . good article and great photos.

We've also put up a whole new website,. which does show some new pics of the CSL replica Gruppe II race car we just completed this summer . . . look for more pics and details on this as the site grows. If all goes as planned, the owner will be racing this car at vintage events this coming year as his schedule allows . . starting at Sebring in March. We'll update the site with more news.

Hey Mario.. Great site and Great work.
We spoke on the phone about Jay's Ground Control setup a few months back.Is this the CSL replica Gruppe II race car that you put the Rear coil-overs...Koni/Eibach on?
and if so did you do any more work to the rear shock tower?

Barry,

What isn't visible in the pics is the forward section of the cage and how it attaches to the shock tower. There is a backing plate to the forward side of the tower, and the cage runs to these, the cross tube goes from the cage tube to the cage tube. We also supported the tops of the shock tower from underneath with reinforcements so the spring / shock won't blow out the top. The latter is essential!

We're working on the car in the next few weeks, and will be posting lots more pics of the car.
