My car has a few of these original screw style clamps but this is the last one intact, is there a source for these-I'd like to get 7 of them for the radiator to tank hose and the fuel lines to the 3 webers. They are 2 piece, the band and screw, plus a separate curved plate that fits between the hose and screw. If possible I'd do the coolant hoses too but I haven't seen these anywhere in any size. Thanks.

Hose clamps

Hi Steve,

Have a look at specific fuel injection style hose clamps, there are some different ones. The ones that I use at the shop don't have the same head style but you can use the clamps with cheeshead style screws. I don't know how big they go, I usually only get smaller ones for fuel lines but worth looking into.

Maybe W & N sells them? I have a bunch that I have plated for my 911 restorations, they use them for the heater hoses but do not have the metal band going all the way around but the have the right head on the screw

Thanks, Rick

Still

kicking... gathering new parts.

On your hole for the sync caps- 1,5/8" (will work for up to 40s. 39mm I think) Should be fine for 32/ 36. That's what I did for mine.

One more trick on Zeniths from Mercedes- the plastic linkage with the wheel is how you set independent idles. Better than sloppy linkage and screws.

Great to hear from you as well.

I looked on McMaster Carr and nothing to match that. This car I am parting may have a few but would be used.
