Source for metric hose

If you are referring to the steel brake and fuel lines then www.wallothnesch.com have them at very reasonable prices. 19.00 Euros for a 5 meter roll of steel fuel line and 47.00 Euros for a complete set of steel brake lines for the entire car.

For fuel line, hit a place that serves the VW aftermarket. They sell the FI rated hose with the textile weave cover, I think I payed about $6 a meter last time I bought it. You can also get the blue weave brake hose from them.

For brake lines, hit a Knecht's or Autozone, they sell the euro double flare with appropriate thread ends in straight lengths you can bend to fit. Also not expensive.

="TILLA" Has anybody used "Cunifer"? It is an alloy of copper, nickel, and iron. It appears to be highly resistant to corrosion and easier to bend than mild steel. I also will not work harden like stainless.

It's good stuff I have used it for fuel lines (8mm dia)
However it is harder to work than the copper brake piping commonly used in the UK.
