I sent out an email to those registered on the Southeast Sharkfest website and it went out on social media last week.

As suggested by our members, we are releasing our date and venue much earlier than in the past to assist folks with their annual planning. So here's the scoop:

Southeast Sharkfest 2016
April 28th - May 1st
Chattanooga, TN

With spectacular mountain roads just minutes outside of downtown, the home of the historic southern railway should provide us a splendid return to our traditional Friday drive. Chattanooga has a beautiful pedestrian downtown area complete with lovely riverside parks, restaurants and shopping. It should be a great venue for the whole family.

Visit www.downtownchattanooga.org or www.chattanoogafun.com/ for information on Chattanooga and its history.
The venue and hotel are still being negotiated, but we will be providing information as it becomes available. Registration will begin January, 2016 as we have not finalized activities and costs.

Best Regards,
Kai Xing
Nat Arnold
Eugene Sherbin
...and the entire Southeast Sharkfest crew!

And will we be seeing your e9 next year, perhaps?

Hahahaha HAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA ROFL!!!!!!!!

Oh... that's funny. No. Definitely not. :D I wish.

That car is gonna be a slow, long term project - if I have it ready for SESF 2020 at this point, I'll be shocked. Having a two year old really puts a kink in your free time.

Indeed, I took a huge hiatus ftom working on cars intil my son, at roughly 14 years of age asked me "Dad, can you teach me to work on cars?"

We then launched into it big time. I wrote a story for BMWCCA about our adventures, which they published a few years ago.

Cheers,

Chris

I'm fighting it tooth and nail. Finally I've carved out some time in the week that is me and car time. It's important to me. My meditation time, if you will. I certainly do hope you and your son can join us as Sharkfest this year. Should be beautiful :).
