Spark Plug Question

I ordered a set of plugs from Carl Nelson (Bosch Super W7DCs) and discovered that I had to remove the terminals in order to fit the plug wire connectors properly. They just latch on to the threaded end of the plug.) I matched the new plugs with the original tool kit plugs and discovered that those also had the terminals removed. Is this normal? Would a new set of plug wires allow the use of the terminals? I guess I miss that gratifying "snap" sound typical of terminal-topped plugs...

Yes, all plugs come with the little screws on the end, they must be removed for the plug wire to "snap" onto the spark plug.
