spark plug torque?

That's the way I usually do it also, but wondered what the number actually is.

My preferred method too. If one really wants to get precise, these numbers are stated in the blue book: 2.5-3.0 mkp for spark plugs (1 mkp = 7.23 ft/lb). So that's 18-22 ft/lb.

Hand tight and about a quarter turn....heat transfer seals them properly, have seen calibrated wrenches strip threads....a large pain in the you know what
