Howdy all,

While working on gathering parts for the resto of my '67, I found that the belt line trim at the front of the hood, with the special recesses is available NEW from BMW! Blunt added it to his website.. $266.95. I figured it was unobtanium...

Here's a good picture of that special trim with the recesses filled with the black decals.

I thought I'd seen a closeup of this trim and it seemed like the recessed part had an embossed texture that was painted, not a sticker. But maybe not.

The blue BMW shop manual shows to remove the the headlight housing, one must peel back the sticker to expose the attachment screw.

Lemme see if I can find the page...

Found it in the manual and then confirmed on my car...duh.
