Speedo cable route.

I'm doing a 74 CSA, right hand drive here in the UK, I stripped it down to a bare body shell a few years ago and now can't figure out the route of the speedo cable and where it comes out of the firewall so a photograph or description would be great. I tried to search etc. but not been able to find anything showing it.

There's a round hole in the bolt-in blanking plate on the LHS of the engine bay (where LHD pedals would have been) - the cable comes through here and has a grommet. It then clips onto the inside of the chassis rail using a couple of clips that are the same as those used for the wiring loom - well that's how mine is/was!

Yes, I've got that hole in the blanking plate so I'll aim for that, I would never have figured out that it went through the bulkhead so far away from the speedo itself so thanks a lot.
