Speedo chrome ring

Is it possible to replace the chrome outer ring on a speedometer? Mine looks like someone was chewing on it.

A competent gauge restorer can correct your "chewed" ring. I use North Hollywood Speedometer, but there are several around the country.

I don't think this is a DIY job, and even if it were, where would you get the replacement ring except from a good speedometer? And if you had a good speedometer, you would probably just use that one.

couldn't you use the chrome ring from any of the e9 gauges since they are all the same diameter? such as a clock that no longer works
