What is the trick to removing a speedo from a CS. I had the clock out years ago - but cannot squeeze the speedo out . Any advise appreciated.

hhhmmmm...try a board search, i think some did a nice write-up before.
I think the entire guage pod needs to come out or fwd. Disconnect speedo cable first, it severely limits speedo movement. Or you can try removing the Fuel/temp guauge, then reach thru to access the nuts (2) holdingthe Speedo, then try to bring it down where the feul/temp guage was/came out.

However you do it, itsa a major PITA if your dash is 'intact'. Good luck.

I removed all the instruments without moving the pod.
The speedo comes out through the left, after removing the
fuel/temp instrument. Need to try various rotation angles to
get it out. Let me know if you need the step by step or just
wanted to confirm that is doable.
