There is a speedo on eBay that I've never seen on an E9 despite being called as one...
Anyone seen what model this might belong to?

The wood grain detail is throwing me off.

Weird. That speedo looks pretty weathered. The black paint on the edges of the dial is crazed and the metal on the back is rusty. I thought at first the woodgrain decal was applied to cover messed up paint, but looking closely the windows for the odometer are cut really cleanly and the fit to the chrome ring is tight so it looks original. It does have the odometer reset cable so there's that.

Ah yes, It's listed as such. Aren't the gears inside set for the rear-end ratio of the car? So it likely would read wrong in an E9?
Speedo gears definitely change based on differential ratios.
Interesting how many subtle changes there are between the 2000 and 2800
