Saw Lonny and Lou Ann at the Foundation when they attempted the Most BMW drive.

Chatted with Amy today. She and Wayne hope to attend HHI in the coupe if her health permits.
I hope they can make it. There were two coupes that made a big impression on me around the time I determined to hunt for one. Doug Dolan's coupe was hugely influential because it showed up at lots of events in the Washington DC area and won something every time he showed it. Around the time I became serious about finding one, I began attending BMW events so as to meet coupe people, learn about coupes and perhaps find one for sale. I found myself in Spartanburg, SC (Sharkfest, perhaps) staring at Amy's triple weber setup. Amy noted my interest, introduced herself, and then said "do you want to hear it run"? Heck yeah I want to hear it run. What a sound. Probably why I have them in my car.
