Spring rates???

Not a problem Chris , it's sitting 1" higher than before.

Maybe it's the rim / tire size your not used to seeing.

Scott they are 005 / 006 with a 1" bigger lip in front and 2" bigger lip in the rear 8" & 10"

wow, that moves the wheel outboard quite a bit. i would think that you would have made the inner barrel bigger since you reduced the spring width to take the tire away from the fender well. when you have the wheel turned significantly and you hit a pothole / bump ... me thinks you are going to push the wheel into the lip. i hope not, but i'm afraid so. i love the look of the deep set centers ... that's why i asked.

It's a fair point to warn about the tire possibly hitting the lip, but much is also depending on how aware you are of that possibility when you drive the car. I've had my fair share of low cars with wide wheels even as daily drivers, the key is to be very observant constantly while you are driving, and maybe even accept that you won't be able to drive just anywhere.
I didn't destroy one single fender-lip or tire, but I'm sure if I had let just anybody drive the cars they would have ruined the lips and/or tires in a couple of minutes - many called it silly to have such low/fragile setups, and I tend to agree nowadays, but it was fun at the moment!
