Stainless?!~@

While picking through the Archives at BMW, I stumbled on a bunch of photos of the 2800 CS Coupe, built of Stainless.
It appears to be a test and marketing exercise between BMW and DEW - Deutsche Edelstahl AG, Krefeld.

DEW seems to be affiliated with Thyssen Krupp and found a way to elevate one of our favorite cars.
I would love to post pics but am lacking the ability.

Does any one know anything about them?[/img]

I do remember the subject being mentioned either on this board or the CS Registry at some point a few years back. Does anyone know what happened to these mythical beasts?

Coupes are already rare beasties - stainless ones must be like rocking horse shit!
