Starting Problem

Enjoyed visiting at BMW Vintage.
Had a problem upon return to Seal Beach. Stopped at market. Turned off motor. Upon returning to car, about fifteen minutes latter motor cranked but would fire up This has happened one other time. After a 1 hour drive. After letting car sit for about 5 hours motor fires right up Please note my motor is a 3.5 injected set up.
Any possible solutions?

Hi,
Did you retrofit a L-jetronics or Motronic engine management system?
When it fails to hot-start, have you checked if you have sparks at the ignition when cranking? (to understand if it's ignition or fuel related)
