Steering column light for ignition key area

So, the small light in the steering column that shines through the clear prism to cast light on the ignition key area.

Is it tied to the courtesy light so when you open the door, it illuminates?

It operates with headlight switch only, shines on the heater fascia was the original intent I think, later e9 have illuminated heater controls.

I didn’t either. But like I said I don’t know anything about operating an e9.

Next, question (which should have been comprised in my first question)

Does anyone know what lightbulb replaces the original? Think mines burnt out.

Take it to Autozone, 4w perhaps
