Anybody know if a steering wheel compatible with a 2002Tii/320i will fit the e9 spline?

I have it in my '02 and it was on my 2800cs when I bought it, I think it is from an early 5 series possibly E12[/url]

Any course spline steering wheel will fit the e9. The problem with 2002 wheels is the horn contact uses a plunger type mechanism vs. the brass contact ring found on the e9 type wheel.
I believe all BMW steering wheels through about 1984 or 1985 have the course splines.
