Putting Bilsteins in my '74 CS. Doing the right side first. The shock goes in the strut just fine until the last inch, then it binds. Hard. It is exactly the same length as the old shock (KYBs by the PO) so I suspect there is some corrosion or dirt (hopefully) in the bottom of the strut tube. Anybody had this probLem? Can it be reamed out or something? Thanks for any help.
