stud for exhaust manifold

Thanks for all who showed the way regarding stud vs, bolt. I ordered the studs, but used different oem #. one w/ ZN as suffix. I take it that this is zinc. I also noticed a break in the threads, where the ones I am removing are threaded all the way. I am not mechanically inclined, so what is difference?, is one better than other.

The original has the break in the threads but you can use one without it as well.
