Suggestions for AC evaporator Cleaning or upgrade

I will certainly be looking through the previous threads . Meanwhile I thought I start asking you all as I the AC box opened up to remove the Bee mud nests. Cleaning the inside and out side of the box and, cleaning and testing the motor , put new insulating foam and anything else as good suggestions !
This is off of the 1971 2800 CS that has not been running for over a decade.
