Sun roof seal

1. I wonder how the velvet seals for the sun roof should be applied:

2. How is the front seal applied:
Is it applied to the body or to the sun roof?

3. The back seal - is it a little bit higher than the sun roof. In other words , can I feel the seal once the sun roof is closed?

4. How should the sun roof be installed?

I used a 3M adhesive to install the new felt on my coupe. Removal of the sunroof is required in order to install the felt properly.

I'd suggest referring to the bluebooks for proper removal and installation procedures for sunroof removal. Also, make certain that you have the proper felts for the front and rear. They are of different diameter.

Seeems to be as I remember doing it last time. Note the time estimate. Also, I haven't done it yet, but I plan to dye the felt the color of my car prior to instalation.
