Hi;
Has anyone in this group ever had any luck recovering the visors?
I am working on covering and replacing the inside foam with a new process.
I have worked with plastic for many years and have always found a way to improvise. I have tried with some vinyl and it seams as though it is going to work.
One problem is nthat I need a old scrap visor to work on so not to ruin the ones on my car. I have two ways of doing them and with a little practice I am sure I will get them done one way or another.
If anyone has a throw away that they can spare I will gladly pay for shipping. I am doing my headliner with new nmaterial and want the visors to match.
If this works I will gladly help anyone who would like their visors covered for material costs. I enjoy finding inexpensive ways of doing projects with satisfactory results.
Please PM me and I will give you my address.
Thanks in Advance.

PS. In case you haven't heard there is cell phone scam traveling fast around the country. DO NOT answer any calls that start with the following area codes.
213,321,618,809,876. Each time you connect to calls from these area codes you will be billed $20.00. Another scam is you get a call that only rings once,you usually will pick up the phone and there will be no one on the other end. What most of us will call back to see who it was. Guess what $20.00 again.
Hope this helps. Please spread this info.

Well 213 is Los Angeles and as Snopes states these are overblown. I always check assertions like these first. Another going around again is you must reregister your cell phones on the DoNotCall list again, it isn't true either.

It's absolutely true; never trust anyone from Los Angeles.

On another note, I think Dequnicey did one of his amazing photo essays on repairing sun visors, or maybe it was Vraned.
