My car finally passed its MOT test in the UK meaning it can be driven on the road.

The shake down has now begun - the first being that I keep being hit in the face by the sun visor. The retaining clips turned to dust when I touched them. I have searched but is there an alternative or a source for the real part? Real OEM states "ENDED" in their very final sounding way.

This is by far and away NOT the most pressing thing to reveal itself, but I would appreciate any help.

Someone made some out of brass a few years ago. I have a pair in reserve, but perhaps there are more floating around.
Maybe Markos will print some up one day?

Not anymore

Hmm sucks. It is a good candidate for 3D printing because the parts are small, and white. I would go with white nylon with post processing in a tumbler to remove any stepping.

I really need to sell a few 3D parts before paying for anymore modeling. Ive sunk way too much money into the process. Perhaps @TravL350 can model it as a service to a forum that way we can publish the model for free. My guess is that it would cost $30-$40 to print them. I wish 3D printing was cheaper.

I'd be glad to- I'm in need of a good set myself. Mine are both cracked and missing chunks of plastic, but if anyone has a spare that is in good shape I could model it and return to you.

Coupeguy has the black CSL ones on his website the last time I looked.

Brass? I think there is some confusion which parts are we talking about here.

Are you referring to the little plastic clips that screw in and hold the visor pivot rods?

I can send you some this week. I will ultimately need them back though. :)

Not so sure. I see the CSL ones for sale, but not the regular ones. Good thing I bought them last year when I did.

Carl Nelson have the white regular ones for sale, or at least did two months ago. Price was $6,10 each.
