I have two sets of Volvo sunroof cables. These are the all metal kind and the height is adjustable. I typically will adjust the cable to fit the BMW sunroofs, either 2002's or E9's. Then I grind off a little material at the top to make it fit better. I've sold a lot of these cables in the past and everyone has been happy.
$175 shipped from 92626. I used to sell them for $120 shipped, but these are getting harder to find. Also, there are sellers offering these exact same cables for $260 a pair on eBay. You do know that the BMW cable is made with plastic at the attachment point. New cost is over $200 per side and there is a good chance that they will break within a year or two.
