I’ve only driven my coupe several times this year because I’ve been so annoyed by a rattle in the sunroof when it’s partially open. When it’s open several inches the front is mounted solidly but the rear of the sunroof panel can be moved up & down maybe a half inch or so with an accompanying rattle that’s particularly annoying because it’s only several inches from my ear. I’m 99% sure the rattle wasn’t there when I first bought the car so I’m suspecting / guessing that bolts may have backed out somewhere but that’s just a guess on my part. My questions are has anyone run into this problem and have some insight on a possible cure ? Also I’m guessing that I have to drop the headliner on the sunroof panel but does the entire headliner have to be removed as well ? Thank you ~ John Buchtenkirch

1. Wind the sunroof back 1/4 of the way.
2 Pry down the 5 clips at the leading edge of the sunroof.
3 Slide the sunroof headliner towards the back of the car while holding the clips away from the insulating foam.
4 You should be able to close the sunroof with the headliner out of the way.
5 See if the rear brackets are loose. The plastic guides may have worn out.
