Hello e9ers, I'm in the midst of restoring a 74 and after reinstalling the sunroof the gap on the front and the back are not even as you can see in the pictures. Has anyone had this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The front & rear seals fill the gap front to back. Front seal glues to the car and goes long on the sides. Rear seal attaches to the rear of the sunroof panel so the seals make a tight lapped seal at the rear edge. Side to side & height are adjusted with the sliding rear guides and the front knurled nuts.

its supposed to be like that only your reear seal is too low it needs to be flush or a mil or two higher than the roof
then when it closes it will look right

Guys thank you so much and sorry for responding late. I'd changed my PC and lost my credentials to log back in. But just want to thank both of you and will be gluing the seals in a couple of days and keep y'all posted of the progress.
