I was crewing on another car and saw Steve there. He was FLYiNG in that gorgeous e30 M3! A real shame it got sick.

Thanks Bo. It was great meeting you in the flesh. It was a shame the M3 suffered an engine issue. While it was running the car was flying. It would have been fun harassing the big blocks during the races.

It was our 3rd season on that motor, including 2 trips to Road America which is a motor killer. We will send the motor back to Tinney and I'm sure he will build another masterpiece.

Bummer about the M3.

"Road America which is a motor killer" ?!

Why or how? Currently in a motor 'refresh' process and taking preemptive measures for durability.

TIA

3 times each lap you are at max velocity, max revs, and max load. Then you plant the nose and use max engine back pressure as you slow the car.
