I need to change the pulleys on my Sanden compressor. The one that was installed on mine is too wide. (https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/w...he-sanden-508-stock-pulley.33426/#post-276478)

Is it as simple as undoing that nut in the center and swapping pulleys? I am guessing that the eccentric piece is for balancing and therefore should remain locked to the pulleys...
Do they come off easily or do you need a gear puller?

Thank you.

Be ever so careful here Bo-
prying, pulling, wedging will wreck a clutch.
Go online- I believe you find there is a special tool which removes the pulley without damaging the clutch.

If the compressor is a 508. You can get a whole new compressor, Eb@y, for <$90.
How much time for change, and when will you use that tool again????
SFDon, recently put one on my coupe.

Thanks Steve. But I went through some expenses to get a “real” Sanden so if at all possible I would like to be able to use it.
