tail light bulbs

One of the tail light bulbs (the brake light) burned out recently on my coupe. I went to the local auto parts store and found a (made in China) replacement. I noticed that the original bulb was made in Germany. Does anyone know where I can purchase German replacment bulbs. Thanks,

Don't know where you are--all reputable Independent BMW shops who service the early cars and all the suppliers listed in the references will have the German bulbs--best idea is to replace all of them with new for a good lighting condition--and while at it--do improve the reflector surrounds with aluminum tape, chrome paint from Pep Boys or other highly reflective coating--the coupe rear lights need all the help you can give them.
