Good luck.

Good luck.

I've also eyeballed these and spent hours (while on holiday) trying to help @sfdon fit the rubbers and mount to a car. The finish is pretty good but the profile for the rubber strips is totally wrong meaning the rubber wont seat correctly. The fitment to the car was also off. As Don said, may have a different view if producer took on the feedback and refined/modified from feedback.
My suggestion is find a good used or spend the money on having an original set restored.

I sent off a mint grille a few years back under the promise they would not destroy it for template....which they did. Did take them about 2 years of harassing to even get that response after telling me numerous times they would check.

At the time before the prototype was even sent off I instructed them on changes which were clearly needed, was told to purchase another and make the changes. Profile is wrong, studs out, too large for aperture.

I also had a set of their bumpers which I had to spend an age cutting and rewelding to get to fit, messages ignored multiple times and then had the gall to advertise their products using my photos.

If I was charging a customer my hourly rate to modify them to fit properly it would be cheaper and better to get originals refurbished.

I think @sfdon even had a set with the bumper brackets stuck on with bondo!

As @Wes said if the manufacturer were willing to act on feedback and had good customer service they could be a consideration, however "sorry our product doesn't fit, buy another and hope it's better" isn't conducting business properly in my eyes.

" spend an age cutting and rewelding to get to fit, messages ignored multiple times and then had the gall to advertise their products using my photos."

I don't do business with people like that.

Common thief is what they are.

Oh boy, I hope the grille isn’t junk as everyone here seems to think oh well, many lessons learned here, I saw bumpers at your shop and at that time your comments were they were good, I haven’t ordered them yet glad everyone has made opining the important part of this forum. Grill held up in customs- arrives today will post pics either way- good thing I’ve got my well worn one still… now if I can find headlight grills…

Fingers crossed for you it actually fits Willy. Mine sits aa an ornament in the garage now.

Their loss at the end of the day as many e9 shops, myself included, I am sure would use their products and praise them if they conducted business properly and stood by their products.

So, it’s stainless nicely polished….
However as has been commented the fitment is definitely off. May end up being a nice wall ornament-as everyone knows the lightweight originals can be coaxed into place this not so sure….to be continued…..

It does fit, will require finesse and time to adjust it however — comments— my car was repaired in front as it was backed into though that was 1990 last time it was on the road…..
