IM fitting a new hood and it wont sit back far enuff
the gag is almost an inch
can anyone tell me the dimension horizontally from the center of the
hood opening on the cowl to the sides
i think my firewall may be pushed in

I believe a 2000 hood would be much narrower as well... different (thicker) front fender cross section.

update on front hood setup

can someone post the dimension from the rear of the nose panel to the recess
where the center of the hood is.
i think my firewall has been pushed in an in or so
