Technical help please - all windows stopped!

Hey all,

Minor glitch - windows were working (slowly) then stopped altogether - I reckon it must be a fuse or relay rather than the motors as these have just been replaced.

Any ideas?

Check fuse 9 (left to right) just left of the last one.

Does the CSi have the circuit breakers under the right side of driver's underdash panel? These appeared in `73 on U.S. coupes, I believe when they changed the motors and the switches to the pin style contacts.

Owen's car is a RHD euro...he is in the UK.

Your wiring may be different, being in the UK, but my '74 with electric front and rear windows has two relays, one of which is operated by the interior light door jamb switch (on the left side door in my case.) Check for good ground and continuity on this switch. The other relay turns on with the ignition,IIRC.
