Techno Classica Essen Car Show

Great pictures of the show!!

If the very special Coupe is the the Mille Miglia Coupe it may be one of a kind--if so--I saw it being restored by Jim Proffit--in Long Beach, CA in 1982. Later it showed up in fine running condition at the Los Angeles Chapter of BMWCCA's Clean Car Contest held in Huntington Beach at their main library park in or around 1997. As i recall negotiations with BMW's key executives over its price spanned several years before it was finally purchased by BMW AG for a very tidy sum.

Next Techno Classica coming up

This years Techno Classica is coming up in a few weeks (30th March to 2. April I believe). Since I live only 25 miles from the venue, I´ll be sure to go (as every year).
Anyone want me to stake out any cars for them? Will take pictures of specific bits of interest if requested...
