Isn't this the show Paul Cain wrote an article on in Roundel , also I think Tyler bought his Inka Csl there.

Yep, its an excellent show, and I believe the largest in the world. Much better IMHO than the Paris Retromobile which is a month or two earlier. Expectedly, TCE has an awesome showing of German cars with a giant selection of classic racing and street Porsches and more MB 300SL/Gullwings, dealers, restorers than you would ever imagine existed. BMW always has one of the biggest and best-designed manufacturer stands, and the German BMW club's exhibit is typically adjacent. Essen is easy to get to from the Duesseldorf airport by car or train, and is about 2 hours by high speed train from the Frankfurt airport.
