Temporary replacement Driver's Seat

If one is sending out seats for repair or recovering, what seats can be used on the e9 ( 1971cs) that fit properly with minor/no issues as an interim ?

I'm redoing my seats right now. I got a World Upholstery seat cover kit and built up the padding myself, on the passenger side anyway. I'm about to do the driver's. I'm using this seat (pictured) out of an E46 that I found in the junk yard right now. I had to cut and weld its brackets to make it work but the result is that it bolts onto the existing rails / sliders in my '74.

My point is that it will be surplus in a few weeks when I finish the job. Where in Southern California do you live?
