Thank You Dan G

And the e9coupe.com name was created in Feb 2003. There's only a handful of people that remember the blowup on roadfly.org when Merdad got banned. That was the last straw and e9coupe.com was born. Glad it happened!

I doubt I'd own a Coupe if it wasn't for online forums, a few locals and my buddy who is a vintage Ferrari mechanic.

I'm 31 and still in the saving money portion of life, and if I had to put full boogey for everything I wouldn't have this car.

I remember the roadkill incident.
Glad that Mehrdad is back with us.
Miss Murray

If I remember correctly it was over links to ebay parts.

We have come a long way.

Thanks Dan G

got me curious too.
but when i tried the link provided, my Firefox banned it as a bad/malware attack site. anyone else got this message?
must be one bad roadkill afterall

The link worked for me and is not Malware.

I am glad the e9coupe site allows eBay links!

It was a long, long time ago....

The admins on the roadfly board were getting a bit over zealous even removing some threads, and blocking other users including that mean annoying Merdad :D. It was their site after all and users needed to abide by their rules. The E28 boys, of which I was one, had had enough and started Mye28. The E9 site continued on Roadfly for a bit but the admins continued to be annoying so we followed suit and started this site.

I worked with the admin of the new E28 site to get this one going piggybacking on the same server as Mye28 I think in 2002. Over time and with some coaxing, the Roadfly E9ers slowly came over to this site. Thankfully, DanG got involved from an Admin standpoint and the site migrated away from the the Mye8 server to where it is today.
