Well, I just wrapped up a week long business trip and had the rare chance to read a book on the plane out and back from Michigan. It's called "The Art Of Racing In The Rain". I liked this book so much I would have recommended it on this board even if it didn't have heavy references to a 3.0 CSi in the story, which even gets track time.
Basically, I liked everything about this short novel and you will too since life philosophies, relationships, and hope prevailing through dispair are all things we can continually improve on. But, best of all, Garth Stein's book describes its important messages through auto racing and man's best friend. Yes, the book is narrated by a loveable canine and it's not in the least bit hokey.
Anyway, enough said. Happy weekend all.
