The 1969 BMW 2800 GTS / Frua

This was a very interesting piece of history for me...

To my untrained eye, the side profile of the Frua contains Fastback Mustang and Datsun 240Z design elements. (Or perhaps I have history wrong.. maybe the Japanese copied the Frua's design when the 240Z was created?)

Not unusual at all for a designer to copy elements from one commission to another. If a creative has something "that works", expect it to show up elsewhere.
