For a couple of years I lived in the UK (originally from Australia), before relocating to the USA, and in the time I spent in the UK every other weekend was a car event. Be that bikes, cars, shows, displays, track days; in the UK they have it all, all the time!

For those that read the UK based magazines you will have heard about The Masters Series, essentially a revival racing series of the classic era of motorsports, the 1970s!

A revival of the Ford Capri versus the BMW CSL, now that would be worth watching (and participating in!).... so in your spare internet browsing time I encourage you to check out http://www.themastersseries.com/race-series/touring-70s.html and if you are super keen then you can choose a CSL to go racing in!

My brother's and I have had similar thoughts on a ETCC revival class out here on the West Coast. We know that there are enough Alfas and BMWs out here. We even have seen a Zackspeed Capri, its scarey fast. If we include the other 'CSL Bats' flying around out here now, it could make an interesting grid/gathering. Just have to find some Opel Commodore's, the Camero's should be easy...

These three characters are usually good for a show.
