Many of us have changed out our bus wheel for more modern, prettier, etc, etc.

What did you do with the original?
You rarely see them listed in the classifieds.

Mine is in very good condition, black spokes have some minor cracks, satin trim in great shape.
Wood has small minor sub surface cracking, but no loss of finish. center pad is good.

It is NOT for sale.

Not sure of the attachment.
My interior is custom, so originality is not a factor. Nor, would it look good now.

Maybe, I will make a piece of art from it.
Any good ideas for this. I am not very artsy. But do well with colors.

my bus wheel is on a desk in our bedroom, wife not amused :-) It's staying with the car (or near it) which is probably why not a lot come up for sale that aren't from part-outs.

My bus wheel is still firmly attached to my steering column. I won't be changing it out for a newer one as I like it. It's in good shape and I want to keep the car as original as possible.

I had the wood rim 'bus' wheel on my 2800 CS auto and the 3.0 CS manual in the '70's. I liked the wheel then, and I like it now. But, I also like the Nardi wheel that came with the current car.

I've purchased two wood rim bus wheels within the past 6 months that need slight restoration. A winter's project!

Ditto for me. I am running a 390mm Nardi in the coupe, but the original wheel is carefully packed away in a box. Perhaps my taste will change someday and I'll want to go back to the bus-sized wheel. Or when my estate sells the coupe the buyer will want to install the original wheel. It just seems like one of those parts that should stay with the car, if not on the car.

I plan on keeping mine also. It is the leather wrapped euro wheel with the split spokes and center horn button.

I don't plan on keeping my slotted alloys though.

I just found a bus wheel from a 2500. Leather has to be wrapped and the three horn button are oxidized but the wheel under the cover seems real nice.
Make an offer if you need one.

Mine is also where is was when the car left the factory. It is in decent condition. I like it and it will remain in place as long I have any say about it.
